Born in 1997 in Beirut, Mara Ingea works on the border between installation, object design, and performance. Her multi-disciplinary work blends the political and the poetical, the environmental and the experimental, the social and the spatial. With upcycling as the base of her practice, she focuses on spaces, places, and their link to memory and imagination to create sustainable participatory experiences.

Her installation Puzzles was awarded Best Student Exhibition of the Prague Quadrennial 2023, and received the World Stage Design 2025 2nd prize for emerging stage and object design.

Based between Lebanon and Europe, she currently works with international artistic teams as director, dramaturg, and designer. She is following a master’s degree in design for kids and toys at PoliDesign, Milan.
